DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC

Dr. Anthony Yannessa received his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001. Before his Chiropractic career, Dr. Yannessa worked as an Exercise Specialist at Western Kentucky University, where he designed exercise programs, conducted fitness assessments, and offered classes in weight training and fitness.

Dr. Yannessa is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. With these advanced certifications, he is able to more thoroughly assess injuries and give specific rehabilitation and conditioning advice to his patients. He also has a personal interest in nutrition and "healthy eating" and provides nutritional advice to patients. He exercises regularly with weight training and running, and enjoys helping others achieve their maximum health potential.

DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY 

Progressive Health and Rehab welcomes Andrew Lauer (Dr. Drew) as their new Physical Therapist. He brings 10 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and has a passion for the spine. He gets a thrill helping people reduce their pain and improve their function. Dr. Drew is a native of Ohio and has resided in Columbus for the past 18 years. He attended Miami University as an undergraduate and received his clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting football cards and other sports memorabilia.

DOCTOR OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE

Dr. McGriff is the Medical Director at Progressive Health and Rehab. He performs pre-physical therapy exams, orders durable medical equipment when needed, and can write select Rx medications in certain cases. He graduated from medical school in 1984 and is board certified in family medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys music and electronics.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Mario began his physical therapy career with Progressive Health and Rehab in 2010 after graduating from North Central State College in 2009 with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy. Mario has gained a considerable amount of exerience at Progressive working with our diverse patient population. 

Most of his experience revolves around conditions of the spine, but he has also worked with injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot. 

He also does a great job of making physical therapy fun for the patients with his jovial, extroverted personality that lights up the PT department.
