We previously talked on the blog about two signs from your body telling you it’s time to go see a chiropractor. But there are more than two ways for your body to tell you that it needs some chiropractic help. Outside of treating your spine, there are many ways in which a chiropractor can improve your musculoskeletal functionality. But our chiropractor here in Gahanna can’t help you if you don’t know what to look for to indicate that you need an appointment. Consider these additional ways your body is trying to tell you that it is time to see a chiropractor.
Your Shoe Soles Wear Out Differently
Have you ever taken the time to look at the bottom of your favorite pair of shoes recently? Do so and really take a look. Consider where the soles of your shoes are wearing out and how they compare to one another. Are they wearing on the outside edge or the inside edge? Is one heal worn down further than the other? If you find that your shoes are wearing out unevenly, this could indicate further problems with your spine, hips, or knees. A chiropractor can help you to walk more evenly and probably relieve pain that you didn’t realize was related during the process.
Limited Range of Motion
Range of motion is tricky business. You need your range of motion in you neck, hips, and other joints in order to function on a daily basis. However, age and other issues can cause you to stiffen up. If you find you can’t turn your neck as far, or reach up over your head as much as you used to, a chiropractor can help you work to improve your range of motion which can also improve your quality of life.
It’s important to know when to have a chiropractor help you with a variety of musculoskeletal concerns. Watch for the about signs and then call Progressive Health and Rehab to book your chiropractic appointment today!
